ATI Systems Achieves ISO 9001 Certification

BOSTON, MA (PRWEB) MAY 29, 2013

National Quality Assurance USA, (NQA, USA),  has recommended Acoustic Technology, Inc. (dba ATI Systems) for ISO 9001:2008 Certification. The ISO 9000 family of standards is related to quality management systems and designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and consistently produce top quality products. ATI Systems adds this international recommendation to its existing credentials which includes over 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of outdoor and indoor warning systems.

ATI’s quality policy is: “ATI Systems, a leader in mass notification systems and emergency communication, is committed to delivering quality products and services on time that meet or exceed our customers’ specifications. Management is committed to continually improve the quality management system.” This policy is now supported by defined and documented processes, as well as control of documents and records. In addition, the ISO standard demands accountability and traceability for all products.

ISO 9001 is an international standard developed by the International Organization of Standardization in Geneva, Switzerland and is used in some 176 countries. Over a million organizations worldwide are independently certified, making ISO 9001 one of the most widely used management tools in the world today. A number of major purchasers require their suppliers to hold ISO 9001 certification because of the quality processes it insures.

“This certification process has improved our management systems and empowered our employees with the understanding of their role in our quality process,” said Claudia Markovich, a manager at ATI Systems. “We have been producing high quality products and selling them internationally for many years, but now have the certification to prove it, and the systems in place for continual improvement. This will open up new markets to us, both nationally and internationally,” she added.
